the best thing about mas os x is the way it looks! but you can get your windows to look pretty similar using objectdock for the launchbar and desktopx for widgets. wikipedia’s definition of a widget “a widget is a small specialised desktop application that provides easy access to frequently used functions or provides some visual information”. well widgets got a little more exciting recently. thats because yahoo bought a small company called pixoria the creators of konfabulator, a runtime engine for javascript applications or in plain english widgets! whats different? well … now the application is free! and it has yahoo! integration. there are tons of widgets to choose from like clocks, stock tickers, weather updates, rss readers and traffic cams.
